Qantas to introduce more NZ flights

AusBN – Qantas has announced that it will introduce an extra 21 return flights across the Tasman during the school holiday period.

During the school holiday peak between July 3 and 19 six more return flights between Sydney and Auckland will run.

Four return services from Brisbane to Auckland and Queensland will also run on 4, 11, 12, 13 and 18 July.

Stephen Thompson, Qantas executive manager of International Sales, said: “New Zealand is a key market for Qantas.

“We now operate a more dynamic flying schedule across the Tasman, which means we can increase our flights when there’s demand and reduce them during quieter periods.”
