Leading Australian dairy companies form partnership

AusBN – Two of Australia’s biggest dairy companies have formed an alliance with China’s New Hope Dairy group and Freedom Foods.

The new consortium will be called Australian Fresh Milk Holdings and it is expected to inject more than A$80 million into Moxey and other sites.

Leppington Pastoral Company has partnered with Moxey Farms to form the alliance to help ramp up milk production to be shipped to local and Chinese markets.

Moxey Farm general manager Quentin Moxey said: “This process has been about securing an opportunity for the family to grow the dairy business.

“We also wanted the opportunity to participate in greenfields projects.’’

 “We have a great respect for the Perich family. We have similar philosophies on how we go about things. I am excited about working together with Michael. It is a great opportunity.’’
