WA-focused miner NTM Gold reports ‘outstanding’ drill results

ASX-listed NTM Gold has intersected ‘outstanding’ high-grade gold during shallow drilling at a prospect within its Redcliffe gold project near Leonora in Western Australia.

The reverse circulation drilling programme tested Northern and Southern extensions at the Hub prospect, with notable results including: 15 metres at 8.5 g/t gold from 25 metres, and 25 metres at 5.4 g/t gold from 20 metres.

“These shallow reverse circulation results highlight the substantial value of Hub with exceptional grades close to surface,” said NTM managing director Andrew Muir.

“Hub has continued to grow with each programme and we are optimistic this continues with the current programme,” he added. The results are from the first eight holes of a planned 37-hole programme for 5,000 metres, which is expected to continue until Christmas.

The Redcliffe project has a global resource of 12.52 million tonnes (Mt) at 1.34 g/t gold for 537,862 ounces. In addition to the current resource, NTM has devised a high case scenario exploration target of 21.55 Mt at 2.5 g/t gold for 1.7Moz.
